Delete your account and data

This page explains how to delete your Pokequizz account, on the pokequizz.com website and in the Pokequizz mobile app (published by Yuna Analytics), and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

In the app

Open the Profile tab, tap "Permanently delete my account", then confirm.

On the website

Sign in on pokequizz.com, open this page ("Delete my data" link at the bottom of every page), click "Permanently delete my account", then confirm.

Without access to your account

Write to contact@pokequizz.com from the email address of the account, or give your username and tag. We delete the account and reply within the one-month period set by the GDPR.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It does not cancel an Apple subscription: cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions, otherwise Apple keeps billing it.

What is deleted immediately

  • Your sign-in account: email address, password, Apple, Google, Discord, Facebook or Twitch links, and open sessions.
  • Your public profile: username, tag, avatar, flag and badge.
  • Your games, scores, answers, streaks, leaderboard positions and unlocks (shinies, avatars, rewards).
  • Your Duel rooms that are still open and your Duel answers.
  • Your notifications and your reports, with their screenshots and reply address.
  • The username reports you sent or that concern you, and the list of players you hid.
  • The ad-free entitlement recorded on your account.
  • On iPhone, if you signed in with Apple, the Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked.

What is kept, and why

  • The scores of your finished Duels, no longer linked to you: your username, tag, avatar and account identifier are removed from the internal match history, where only anonymous scores remain for statistics.
  • A few counts no longer linked to you: the link to your account is removed from clicks to the support page and from Lucky Egg guesses, which remain counted anonymously.
  • Automatic database backups at our host Supabase, used only to recover from an outage: they rotate out and disappear no later than 30 days after deletion.
  • Your App Store purchases: their history stays with Apple, under Apple's rules; Apple also handles refunds.
  • The transactions for these purchases at RevenueCat, our purchase management provider, tied to a technical identifier with no email or username. Write to us and we will request their erasure.
